We are COMPLETELY MOBILE and COME TO YOU! We provide eye exams, contact lens renewals, eyeglasses, sunglasses, computer glasses (CompuSpecs), contacts, readers and accessories ALL ON-SITE! We are completely mobile with state of the art digital equipment. We can accommodate any patient with or without special needs, fragile community members, and be their voice when it comes to their vision. Optical Academy provides the crucial eye care and eye wear services inside your facility, not an inconvenient van. Convenience at it’s finest for sure!
Optical Academy is growing rapidly and looking for a Licensed Optometrist to provide care for patients with eye-related conditions and disorders; perform eye examinations to detect defects in vision and ocular disease; conduct routine eye examinations, including visual field tests; take detailed medical histories for all patients; evaluate eye-related symptoms and diagnose sight problems; prescribe, supply, fit and adjust glasses and corrective lenses when required; promote eye health by educating and counseling patients on contact lens care, visual hygiene and safety factors; evaluate patients for presence of diseases and refer patients to board-certified ophthalmologists or other healthcare providers when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary vision care.
- Conduct eye exams.
- Conduct vision screenings.
- Detect and diagnose vision problems
- Prescribe corrective lenses to treat any vision problems.
- Treat eye disease.
